Rock County Public Health Urges Caution Amid Measles Outbreak: Check Your Vaccination Status Now!

Rock Co. residents urged to be cautious of measles exposure by health officials

In Rock County, Wisconsin, Public Health officials are urging the public to take precautions after a measles outbreak was reported in the area. The outbreak is believed to have originated from an individual who was infectious and spent time in Rock County. The Rock County Public Health (RCPH), along with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Public Health Madison & County, and SSM Health, are all working together to identify and notify individuals who may have been exposed to the virus.

If you believe you may have been exposed to measles, RCPH is asking that you check your vaccination status. You can do this by visiting Kwik Trip on W Madison Ave in Milton between 2:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, SSM Health Dean Medical Group on E Racine St in Janesville between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, April 22, or SSM Health Mary’s Hospital on E Racine St in Janesville between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23
