Jennifer Leak, a remarkable woman known for her strength, loveliness, and incredible talent, passed away at the age of 76 on March 18 at her home in Jupiter, Florida. She had been battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurological disease, in her final years.
Leak was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1947 and had a successful career in acting. She appeared in various soap operas and screen roles before transitioning to working as a sales agent for a real estate company in the mid-1980s.
Matheson, her former husband, shared a tribute to Leak on Facebook describing her as an exceptional woman who had an impact on many lives. He extended his condolences to her husband James D’Auria, whom she had been married to for 47 years.
Leak is best known for her role as Colleen in the 1968 film “Yours, Mine and Ours,” where she played the daughter of Lucille Ball’s character. The movie depicted a blended family of 18 children.
Despite facing health challenges in recent years, Leak remained strong and positive until the very end. She is survived by her husband and brother. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and inspired throughout her career and personal life.
